Tambja morosa (Bergh, 1877)
40mm

I saw five of these between 19 May 1978 and 8 August 1980, all exposed on the subtidal reef at Puako, Hawaii, at depths of 6-10m. All but one were found at night. In later years, they were reported to be common at Magic Island on Oahu, a site I dove frequently in the late 70s and early 80s without ever seeing a specimen.
