Actinocyclus papillatus (Bergh, 1878)
40mm

Actinocyclus papillatus has been found at Kwajalein and Enewetak Atolls on seaward, lagoon and pinnacle reefs.

Like other members of the family, gill stalks of A. papillatus are compact and curl into a small ball shape on the posterior dorsal surface.

This large individual was under a rock on a shallow southern Kwajalein lagoon pinnacle on 26 January 2015.

The one below was under a rock on a large midlagoon pinnacle reef.

A specimen from Enewetak Atoll was found on a current swept pinnacle lagoonward of a deep water pass.
