Discodorid sp. e638
13mm

This rather nondescript, flattened, translucent white animal measured 13mm and was found under a rock on a Kwajalein lagoon reef at a depth of about 6m. The dorsum was crowded with small, white spiculose warts. The animal appears to be the one figured in Gosliner et al (2018) as Caryophyllidia dorid sp. 6, which was previously known only from Papua New Guinea and Japan.

Another specimen was found at Majuro by Ken Cone and Beth Van Zummeren.
