We are tentatively calling this a species of Thordisa. It is known from one specimen found on an eastern lagoon reef under a rock of about 6m. The animal was found on 25 January 2009. It was not measured but was probably less than 20mm in length. The first shot is from immediately after it was found. At that time, it was covered with sand grains. We swept them off to see the animal better in the subsequent shots.
A closeup of the rhinophores.
The underside shows some brown spotting.
