Tentatively identified as a Platydoris, this species is known in the Marshalls from possibly two specimens from Kwajalein Atoll. Both were found on Halimeda algae on a lagoon slope at a depth of about 8 meters, one on 4 July 2007 and the other on 27 May 2008. They are a bit similar to the species we have identified as Platydoris sanguinea, but differ in details of the coloration. The two specimens also differ from one another and may actually not be the same. The internal anatomy was not examined.
