Aldisa pikokai Bertsch & Johnson, 1982
Aldisa pikokai is rare in the Marshalls, known from only two specimens found at Kwajalein. One specimen measuring 10mm was found in a surge channel ledge on the seaward reef at about 9 meters at night. The habitat and noctural activity was similar to numerous specimens we have observed in Hawaii. The photo from Kwajalein was taken by David Johnson.

For comparison, below is a specimen photographed off the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Coloration in Hawaiian animals varies from orange to dark red.
