dorid sp. e78b

This unique animal is looks as though it could be an Atagema although the anatomy has not been checked to try to verify that. This animal was originally incorrectly lumped in with another species and good color notes were not kept. The single specimen was found at Enewetak Atoll on a shallow lagoon reef under a piece of aluminum siding storm debris. It measured 20mm in length. The upper photo shows the gills extended; they are retracted in the lower.
