Thordisa ? sp. e78b

This animal looks as though it could be a Thordisa or an Atagema although the anatomy has not been checked to try to verify that. The first specimen was found at Enewetak Atoll on a shallow lagoon reef at a depth of 3 to 4m under a piece of aluminum siding storm debris in 1983. It measured 20mm in length. The second, which we think but are not positive is the same species, was found on a Kwajalein lagoon reef under dead coral at about 6m on 9 March 2009. The first two photos show the Enewetak specimen, the upper photo showing the gills extended; they are retracted in the second. The remaining three shots show the Kwajalein animal.
