Ceratosoma gracillimum Semper in Bergh, 1876

Ceratosoma gracillimum is known from the Marshalls from only two specimens so far. One was found at the base of the lagoon slope at a depth of about 30 meters on 4 February 2008. The other was found on a nearby lagoon reef on sponge and algae-covered rock at a depth of about 10m on 24 November 2008. The first few photos show the first specimen found.
