Philine rubrata Gosliner, 1988
5mm

Several of these tiny slugs were recently found by Christina Sylvester on the lagoon side of the northeast end of Kwajalein Island. They were either in sand or crawling through carpets of thin brownish colored algae filaments in what would be the intertidal zone at low tide. When irritated, it left a ring of orange mucus behind it as it crawled along.
