This small species was on the encrusted buoy line marking one of the lagoon bottom shipwrecks in Kwajalein Atoll. It was found and photographed by Jay Lord, who had also found another specimen a year earlier.

The wrinkled caruncle between the rhinophores can be seen in the photo below, although it blends in well with the irregular processes covering the body.
