This striking nudibranch, Nembrotha kubaryana, is found occasionally on lagoon and oceanside reefs in the Marshalls. It eats small green tunicates that grow exposed on rocks, so the nudibranch is often seen out and about during the day. Its brilliant colors must serve to warn potential predators that is is a distasteful or poisonous prey.
