Harlequin swimming crab - Lissocarcinus laevis


With polyps retracted, a large solitary tube coral was home to a small Lissocarcinus laevis, the Harlequin swimming crab, shown residing safely tucked in the coral’s mouth during the day until the coral's tentacles provide it with nighttime protection. 10mm
