Alas, a reminder that most of what we see underwater is looking for something to eat, and this lizard fish, Synodus variegatus, had captured quite a mouthful. Time will tell if he manages to eat it as we have seen some lucky fish wiggle away despite the appearance of their seemingly dire circumstances.
