3-stripe clownfish - Amphiprion tricinctus

This particular anemone has been known to us for over 40 years! It has always had this particular species of clownfish (A. tricinctus), which always takes on a black coloration when in this species of anemone. In other species of anemones, the clownfish are golden brown in front. This anemone is very large, easily 100 cm across (over three feet) and the clownfish 10 cm.
